RSS Link Tagger for Google Analytics

Always wanted to know where your traffic really came from? Did it come from Twitter? Or maybe from your RSS feeds? It’s now possible to track your incoming traffic with Google Analytics by using one of my plugins. The Twitter Publisher plugin gives you the option to add link tagging to URL’s in Tweets and this plugin adds them to your RSS links.

By using Campaigns Variables you can tell Google Analytics where your traffic came from. Mostly used by the Google Search Engine, Google Adwords and URL Shorteners like Awe.sm, you can also create them yourself. By adding those Campaign Variables to your URL’s, you can track traffic coming from Twitter, RSS, Email or even offline campagins (although your URL is far from userfriendly).

If you want to know which traffic comes from your RSS feeds, add my plugin and look it up in Google Analytics! Just download, unzip, place it in your wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it through the Dashboard Plugins menu. No configuration needed.

Enjoy! You can find the plugin here.
